Inherently Cellular Fabric has superior thermal content to most other types of solar shade materials. In our Smooth Blind system we embrace these thermal and acoustic advantages above standard pleated alternatives.

Honeycomb pockets create an air barrier against heat and noise transfer. Energy efficient by default heat loss is cut dramatically in the winter months. With white backed cells the solar reflectiveness reduces solar glare and cools during summer months.

Furthermore our 'blockout' version of the Cellular Fabric includes an aluminium foil laminated to the inside of each individual cell. This enhances even more the already present qualities that the dimout version offers to a point of real savings on energy bills. Plus of course the advantage of no light being able to pass through the fabric itself. Not every situation requires a blackout fabric but where there may be a need or at least a question of suitability, then the relatively small surcharge is well worth the investment.
